Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all websites, applications, software products, SaaS services, mobile games, iOS and iPadOS apps, player accounts, virtual items, cloud hosting and infrastructure services, email and communication tools, AI-powered tools, APIs, and related services operated by TRUP LLC (“TRUP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

You must comply with this AUP when using our services. Violations may result in suspension, restriction, termination, content removal, reporting to authorities, or other actions.

1. General Rule

You may not use our services for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, high-risk, or disruptive activity. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for all content, traffic, emails, files, code, prompts, outputs, websites, app builds, player activity, and data processed through your account.

2. Illegal or Harmful Activity

You may not use our services to create, host, transmit, process, promote, or facilitate:

• Illegal content or activity.
• Fraud, scams, impersonation, or deceptive practices.
• Phishing, credential theft, account takeover, or social engineering.
• Malware, ransomware, spyware, botnets, worms, viruses, or malicious code.
• Unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks, or data.
• Stolen data, leaked credentials, or unauthorized personal information.
• Child sexual abuse material or exploitation of minors.
• Human trafficking, terrorism, extremist violence, or credible threats of violence.
• Harassment, stalking, doxxing, or targeted abuse.
• Content or activity that violates intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights.

Apps, games, and player safety

You may not use TRUP apps, games, or related services to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate leaderboards, falsify achievements, or gain an unfair advantage.
• Use bots, automation, unauthorized clients, mods, injectors, or scripts to alter gameplay or service behavior.
• Steal, trade, sell, or fraudulently obtain accounts, virtual currency, virtual items, codes, or entitlements.
• Harass, threaten, groom, stalk, doxx, impersonate, or target other players or community members.
• Submit or distribute content that infringes rights, exposes personal information, or violates the applicable app or game rules.

3. Network, Hosting, and Infrastructure Abuse

You may not use our infrastructure, hosting, servers, domains, DNS, storage, or bandwidth for:

• Denial-of-service attacks or stress testing without authorization.
• Port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or penetration testing against third-party systems without authorization.
• Open proxies, open relays, bulletproof hosting, botnet command and control, or abuse infrastructure.
• Malware distribution, exploit kits, phishing kits, or malicious redirects.
• Cryptocurrency mining unless explicitly approved in writing.
• Excessive resource consumption that disrupts service stability.
• Activities that cause IP addresses, domains, networks, or services to be blocklisted.
• Activities that create security, legal, operational, or reputational risk for TRUP LLC, our users, our providers, or third parties.

4. Email and Messaging Abuse

You may not use our email, messaging, automation, or communication services for:

• Spam or unsolicited bulk messages.
• Purchased, scraped, rented, or harvested contact lists.
• Messages without appropriate consent.
• Phishing, spoofing, deceptive sender identities, or misleading subject lines.
• Malware, malicious links, or credential collection.
• Failure to include required unsubscribe mechanisms where applicable.
• Attempts to evade sending limits, reputation controls, suppression lists, or compliance checks.
• Sending content that violates anti-spam laws or third-party platform rules.

You are responsible for maintaining proper sending practices, including accurate sender identity, valid consent, unsubscribe handling, bounce handling, and compliance with applicable laws.

5. AI and Automation Abuse

You may not use AI-powered or automation features to:

• Generate or distribute unlawful, deceptive, infringing, abusive, or harmful content.
• Create spam, phishing, malware, scams, or social engineering campaigns.
• Impersonate individuals or organizations without authorization.
• Generate misleading professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical advice without appropriate review and disclaimers.
• Evade detection, rate limits, abuse controls, or platform rules.
• Scrape, harvest, or process data in violation of law or third-party rights.

6. Regulated and High-Risk Activities

You may not use our services to operate, promote, or facilitate prohibited or high-risk activities without our prior written approval and any required licenses or compliance controls.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia.
• Weapons, explosives, or regulated military goods.
• Gambling, betting, lotteries, or games of chance.
• Adult sexual services or non-consensual sexual content.
• Counterfeit goods or unauthorized replicas.
• Financial scams, deceptive investment schemes, or get-rich-quick programs.
• Unauthorized money transmission, crypto exchange activity, or regulated financial services.
• Surveillance, spyware, or unauthorized tracking tools.
• Products or services that violate payment processor, hosting provider, or platform rules.

7. Intellectual Property and Copyright

You may not use our services to infringe copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights.

Copyright or intellectual property complaints may be sent to hello@trup.org. Include enough information for us to identify the allegedly infringing material and contact you.

8. Security Testing

You may not test the security of our systems or third-party systems without authorization. Responsible security reports about TRUP services may be sent to hello@trup.org.

Do not access, modify, destroy, exfiltrate, or disclose data that does not belong to you.

8A. App Store and Platform Integrity

You may not use our services or apps to bypass platform security, manipulate App Store ratings or rankings, submit deceptive app metadata or reviews, evade app marketplace rules, distribute malicious builds or SDKs, or interfere with another developer’s app, account, or distribution rights. Where a TRUP app supports user-generated content, you must follow its reporting, blocking, moderation, and community rules.

9. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP. We may remove content, throttle traffic, suspend services, disable accounts, block emails, quarantine files, report abuse to providers or authorities, or terminate services.

We may take immediate action without prior notice when necessary to protect users, infrastructure, payment processors, providers, third parties, or TRUP LLC.
